Who we are#
docling.org is an independent website about the open-source Docling toolkit. Contact: hello@docling.org.
What we collect#
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PGMP5PB59R) to count page views and understand which pages and tools are used — for example, when someone copies a code block or opens the demo. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address to estimate location; we do not receive your IP address or identify you.
- Hosting logs. Our host (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP address and user agent to serve and protect the site.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message to answer it.
We have no user accounts, comments, newsletters or advertising.
The tools#
The config builder, install picker, OCR picker, chunk visualizer, format checker and error finder run in your browser. What you type or paste — including error messages — is not sent to us. We record only that a tool was used (an analytics event without its content).
Third-party content#
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- The live demo on the Try online page is hosted by Hugging Face and only loads when you click “Load the live demo”. Images you upload there are processed by that service under its own terms.
- Links to GitHub, PyPI, Hugging Face and other sites are governed by those sites' policies.
Your choices#
You can block analytics with your browser's tracking protection or an extension, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works fully without it. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage only.

We update this page when our practices change; the date above shows the latest version.
Was this accurate? We re-verify pages when Docling releases change behaviour. If a command fails for you, email hello@docling.org with your Docling version and the error — corrections are usually live within a day.
